Lee Adrion HBCU began with a challenge and a vision: addressing the urgent shortage of safe, quality student housing at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Over half of HBCU students report unsafe conditions, and one in five experience homelessness. Our inaugural development at Jackson State confronts this crisis directly, transforming 14 duplexes into modern, energy-efficient homes for more 100 students. Our follow-up development at Prairie View — 44 acres now in escrow — proves the model can scale. Together, they affirm what we believe: enriching the lives of our nation’s brightest, through dignified living, creates impact far beyond campus.
