Lee Adrion HBCU began with a challenge and a vision: addressing the urgent shortage of safe, quality student housing at Historically Black Colleges and Universities. Over half of HBCU students report unsafe conditions*, and one in five experience homelessness. Our inaugural development at Jackson State confronts this crisis directly, transforming 14 duplexes into modern, energy-efficient homes for more 100 students. Our follow-up development at Prairie View — 42 acres, with an additional 2 acres separately pursued — reflects our strategy to scale this model. Together, they affirm what we believe: enriching the lives of our nation’s brightest, through dignified living, creates impact far beyond campus.
